Zero point - the end of a cycle

To understand our present cycle it is useful to look to the past and the previous cycles. The Age of Aries ushered in efforts to replace polytheism with monotheism. The earliest known attempt was by the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten, who, in about 1350 BC, decreed the Sun God Aten to be the supreme deity. After his death, power reverted to the original polytheistic priests, who re-established the old religion, the cycle of Taurus and worshiping of a 'golden calf”. During the reign of Ramesses II, Moses, Biblical Hebrew religious leader, lawgiver, prophet and military leader, was influenced by Akhenaten's revolutionary idea, and grasped the idea of a single supreme God, who especially favored his people who at the time were in bondage. The symbol of Aries can be seen as representing the power of multiple gods streaming down into a single god-head. At its most instinctual level, Aries expressed as an unconscious “me first”, undirected, impulsiveness and “raw assertion of ego energy. Bottom line, the Pharaohs and Kings of the day were  humanities direct link to God. The people of this cycle did not have a personal relationship with God.

Approximately two thousand six hundred years ago humanity  moved into the Age of Pisces, heralding a time of prophecy concerning the birth and life of a savior. The idea of a miraculous conception and birth among the saviors of the world is widespread. Many cultures attribute this archetype with royal genealogy, triune deity, threatened in infancy, tempted by demons, work miracles, redemption through grace, transfiguration where divinity is revealed, and risen from the dead. This Savior Archetype pattern which has drawn devotees of great spiritual leaders who have been led by social-psychological reasons to attribute certain characteristics and experiences to the nature and life of their masters. They have deified them with supranatural attributes; they have produced similar legends about their births and lives; and they have celebrated similar sacred rituals and sacraments in their names.

Moving out of the Aries into the Pisces cycle, many were eager to be shown a new way, and began to explore a closer more personal interaction with the Divine through the archetype. Today the spiritual influence of the Archetype of Pisces is realized through living a unified spiritual and personal life. Many believe that the world is currently on the cusp of the Pisces and Aquarian ages, explaining why so many developments in the world today can be aligned to Pisces (i.e. continuing strong religious influences and Aquarius influence with electricity, computers and democracy).

The entrance into a new age is not a single moment of time but a process by which one age initiates its influences in a slowly increasing way before the end of the previous age, a merging of influence between each adjoining ages. We are currently being initiated, and awakened into enlightenment, where we will experience a personal and direct contact with the Divine.

The cycle of Aquarius is the impetus to find ‘Truth,  a time of freedom and nonconformity. Bringing forth the "rebel” in us  for tearing down old models, tossing out old concepts for an unconventional, inventive and original idealistic philosophy for the future. The cycle of Aquarius is the age of enlightenment, knowledge inspiration, truth and purity to clarify the Soul through the mind.Trusting intuitive knowing from the superconscious mind to be shared to benefit all of humanity. Aquarius cycle, a strong desire for sociability and harmony, self-awareness and awareness of others while maintaining a balanced and detached perspective. Aquarius is group identification and a socialized environment based on strong social ideals.

Today we are at or close to “Zero point” the end of the Pisces cycle, everything is fast and furious, producing lightening speed results from our thoughts and emotions. Fear produces more fear, and we reap the consequences of these fears. Joy, trust, courage, honor, love produce more of the same. It is, and can be the biggest challenge of our life, as we awaken to who we truly are. If together we hold steadfast for a better world, we begin to experience the wonders of our collective positive creations, and manifestations that are good for us individually and collectively.

Re: Zero point - the end of a cycle

Thanks Charlene!  My thought for the year is ONENESS/UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS.
